Sprayseal is a spray applied rigid foam which forms a seamless, weatherproof barrier providing an effective and economical solution to roofing and insulation problems.
Sprayseal insulation foam is produced by combining two low viscosity liquids – an isocyanate and a resin blend – these react and expand by up to 30 times their original volume to produce a 90% closed cell structure. The formation can be varied according to specific requirements with densities ranging from 30 kg to 60 kg per cubic metre.
The non-toxic and odourless Sprayseal foam insulation is suitable for almost all situations including controlled environments and laboratories, hospitals, food processing, textile production, petrochemical and agricultural applications and has been widely used by local authorities, architects, surveyors and civil engineers. Although lightweight (normally approx. 2 kg per sq. m. at 40mm thickness), Sprayseal insulation foam is extremly rigid and will add strength to any structure. As an insulator, it is the best material commercially available and will drastically reduce heat loss giving an extremely attractive ‘pay-back’.
Sprayseal foam insulation bonds to virtually any surface and can be used in many different situations – to renovate and repair, injection work including cavity reinforcement foam and even as a buoyancy aid in marine applications – the thickness of foam can be varied to achieve any desired degree of insulation and specially formulated coatings have been developed to give specific properties – such as waterproofing, fire retarding and prevention of ultra-violet attack – as well as any chosen colour finish.
Disruption to output can be kept to an absolute minimum as Sprayseal insulation foam is applied quickly, either externally or internally. External foam and coating systems conform with BS 5242 & BS 7021.
