Condensation in Commercial Buildings

It is that time of year again when temperatures drop very quickly overnight and uninsulated roofs can form frost on the inside of roofs. This can cause significant problems when buildings heat up the following day and condensation drips from the roof on to the surfaces below.

If this happens in a workshop or factory it can become a Health and Safety problem because tips and falls are caused by slippy flooring. Obviously if water drips on to electrical machines it could result in machinery being damaged or far worse, injury to the operator.

If surface condensation occurs in a warehouse it can result in stock being saturated which can cost thousands in lost revenue.
