Condensation in Commercial Buildings

Posted by Rick Northover on November 30 2015 (Condensation, Condensation Problems)

It is that time of year again when temperatures drop very quickly overnight and uninsulated roofs can form frost on the inside of roofs. This can cause significant problems when buildings heat up the following day and condensation drips from the roof on to the surfaces below.

If this happens in a workshop or factory it can become a Health and Safety problem because tips and falls are caused by slippy flooring. Obviously if water drips on to electrical machines it could result in machinery being damaged or far worse, injury to the operator.

If surface condensation occurs in a warehouse it can result in stock being saturated which can cost thousands in lost revenue.

At Sprayseal we have resolved these types of problems for many companies throughout UK. For the past 28 years we have sprayed our Class 1 polyurethane foam system to the underside of profiled commercial roofs whcih eradicates surface condensation and reduces heat loss. It is the most effective and versatile insulation system because it is self bonding and conforms to all profiles and shapes.

Please contact us before it gets too cold and let us help you conquer your condensation and heat loss problems.
